As demand for Biokleen products increased, Jim’s daughter, Cindy, took on the company’s books, soaking in all she could about the nascent naturals industry. With hard work and progressive insight, Cindy moved up the ladder and into an executive, visionary role. She began cultivating retailers—plus a league of brand enthusiasts!—and developing sales and market strategies that helped the business grow. With its move across the river to Vancouver, Washington, in 2003, Biokleen expanded its production and renown across the U.S., from farmer’s markets to online stores to individual customers and families. Next year, Biokleen will celebrate its 30th year since Jim Rimer’s first sale, in March 1989.
